A 2-day experiential seminar
To build an efficient team, it is necessary to establish, among the members of the group, a harmony and sharing of objectives and values. Team building is the set of techniques, situations and phases that allow to build “The Team” but also represents an instrument to overcome situations of tension.
The purpose, in this case, will then be to consolidate the mined relationships with a view to improving individual employees’ performance and, ultimately, achieving the company’s business goals as a whole.
Team building is also an experience of personal growth as well as professional as well as a valuable tool able to bring people who, sometimes, while being in direct contact at the workplace, remain distant from each other due to psychological barriers, character limits or incapacity on the part of the context to favour its approach.
The objective of the course is to analyse the techniques for the construction, operation and maintenance of a team of high capacity.
To make a group work well it is necessary that all its members wish to be part of the same team, sharing goals, decisions, results. It is therefore necessary to better manage people, understanding and enhancing the potential of each employee and making sure that the different individual characteristics are integrated and interpersonal relationships are positive and synergistic.
The course also explores the processes that allow the recovery and maintenance of an efficient team even in crisis situations.
The course is aimed at managers and professionals who must manage complex processes and projects that require the creation of work groups involving employees and external collaborators with different roles, experiences and skills.
Course organization and teaching methodology
The course develops in an integrated way, alternating moments of theoretical reflection with group work, individual exercises, simulations, etc. over two full-time days, from Thursday evening to Saturday early afternoon. It is a complete experience in which even the social moments (lunches and dinners, evening activities) have an educational value.
At the core of the method is the experience lived with the body, mind and emotions. What makes the experience effective is the particularly rich and articulated context in natural, cultural and relational elements. The keys are added to the context, given to orient the meaning by accompanying the expression of personal qualities that will gradually emerge.
The experience is really educational because produces the expansion and enrichment of the individual, leading him/her towards self-improvement and the acquisition of new skills. The environment, characterized by the presence of a plurality of opinions and different groups, that sometimes clash one another, facilitates the progressive development of the characteristics of the person.
The course will start on Thursday evening with a welcome dinner and will end on Saturday, after lunch, at 4 p.m.
The teaching units, duration of one hour, will focus on the following topics:
1- The group, the team, the team: characteristics and differences
2- When you need to create a team
3- The conditions for creating a successful team: the Lencioni model
4- Exercises on the ability to create a group
1- How to structure communicate the objectives of the group
2- Roles within the team: difference between formal roles and functional roles
3- The team leader and his role
4- Experiences nature of relaxation
1- Personal characteristics and communication styles of the team leader
2- Delegation for group development (accomplish the task, grow individuals, strengthen team spirit, achieve goals)
3- Team cohesion: how to recognize and cultivate cohesion factors
4- Closing and conclusions of the course

The teaching staff is made up of all the staff of Icaro and of the Centroanidra present in Borzonasca. In fact, all the moments of life at the center will be an opportunity for reflection and learning. In particular, the “classroom” moments will be managed by Paolo Bendinelli, Mauro Mauruzzj and Bruno Banone, teachers with long experience in training with adults and personal and group training.
Participation in the course varies depending on the type of logistical arrangement chosen and must be defined with the organizational secretariat.

The course will take place at the straw house (congress hall) of the Anidra Center of Borzonasca, in the locality of Casali di Stibiveri.
